Description:
HUGLU ( Second Price Reduction)
BESPOKE, ANIB, UNFIRED – Custom Shop, ( which requires 20 years apprenticeship to be selected ), SGr05, the model number denoting their highest level of premium engraving, all accomplished by  the traditional hand- and- chisel method, 16 bore, SxS, 2 ¾” chambered, bored from improved carbon steel bar, mono-block constructed, black chromed, 28” barrels, choked I/C & I/M  (.007 & .020 respectively), and lengthened forcing cones.  Sights are a metal mid bead and gold anodized bead up front.

Huglu used the decades old and tank tough Anson & Deeley boxlock action design, and false sideplates to provide extra '"canvas" for the gifted engravers.  The receiver is CNC machined from solid steel, properly proportioned for the gauge, has a Greener crossbolt and side clips, and is 100% scroll engraved.  The double triggers are mechanical, the safety is manual, and does not have ejectors.

Turkish Walnut has world-wide respect among stock-blank people, and a nice choice for a bespoke firearm. The satin oil finished wood is Huglus’ No.3, the grain pattern absolutely stunning at this price point.  It has a Prince of Wales Grip, palm swell, tear drop, inlaid initial brass plate (mine can be easily buffed clear), has a ¼” right cast, 14 ½” LOP, 1 3/8” DAC,  2 11/16” DAH, and there is a spectacular skeleton butt plate.   The splinter forearm looks to have come from the same stock blank.

The "D" promintily displayed on the top lever and butt plate is for DeHaan Shotguns Ltd., the importer and retailer from whom I purchased the shotgun.  The final picture is a "safe queen" accident that is the only blemish on the gun!!!

Full disclosure: I don’t have a precise scale to weigh the gun, but Huglus’ tech sheet advised it would be a bit over seven pounds, dependent primarily upon the stock’s density and barrel length.
I’m selling due to health issues and inability to walk out the roosters anymore!  The gun cost just under $4K.  My price was $3750.00 OBO, but is reduced to $3250.00 OBO, with the customary three-day inspection period, no screws to be turned, and the buyer pays shipping and insurance.
Thank-you for looking.

God Bless
