Description:
Extremely fine gun with 30 inch extra heavy full octagon barrel. Barrel is just a little heavier than the frame. Excellent bore. Original windage adjustable front sight as well as a Pope folding tang rear sight. Gun is fitted with the Stevens scope measuring 18 inches in length with excellent optics and correct mountings. Fancy Deluxe wood is in excellent condition with most all original varnish. It has a heavy Schuetzen buttplate. Double set triggers and correct Pope palm rest. This gun is in excellent condition throughout. Pope number under the forearm is 1770. Gun weighs 14 -1/4 pounds. This gun would be hard to improve upon. About 98% original blue with case colored frame and nickel plated lever and buttplate.
