A nice original Starr Arms Model 1858 Civil War .44 Cal Double Action Revolver, martially marked, etc. Revolver has a nice patina and is totally original in all respects with a perfectly functioning double action mechanism which is quite unusual on these revolvers - usually the DA timing is worn and malfunctioning but not so with this fine specimen. One of 23,000 made and most saw use in the War of Northern Aggression.
