An extremely rare Remington Express wooden 20 gauge half case.Circa late 1920s,this box has dovetailed corners and bright lettering.It will hold 10 boxes of 20 gauge shotshells.I have collected wooden shell boxes for over 40 years and this is the only half case I have ever seen.Originally shipped to Dallas,Texas.There is an age crack on one side of the box,otherwise it is in excellent condition.A rare addition to any collection or a fine decoration for your den or gun room.
