Colt Ace Model semi-auto pistol in .22 Long Rifle. 4-digit serial, first year of production! Comes with 2 very rare original magazines! Same 36oz weight as the M1911. Purely blowback operation. Only 11,000 non-service models were built from 1931 to 1941.
Very good overall condition with scattered light scratches to the bluing, slightly more towards the muzzle. Light discoloration or darkening to the blue on the slide in the front half of the patent lines on the left side and near the Ace diamond logo on the right side. Light scratches and worn blue on the front grip strap. Grips hold a few dinged checker points and less-than-perfect screw heads on all but 1. No cracks to the grips. Safety is sticky but likely just old gummed oil in it. This does not have the floating extra-recoil chamber that was found on the service-model Ace. Excellent shiny bore!
