This is an outstanding WWII (stripped) Receiver and what appears to be its original Barrel set as sold through the CMP program on June 28 27, 2001. Also the finish other than expected cycling wear rates appx at 90% and appears to still retain its original/correct ‘’SA 5-45’’ barrel! The bore visually rates Minty and the throat gauges at only a 4 on an original Arsenal gauge. Again, going by the SN and barrel date this appears to be the receivers original WWII Barrel These simply do not get any better that is for sure! A great candidate for a nice late WWII/mid 1945 M1 restoration! Plus it comes complete with its CMP Documentation! (Of course it is Not Import Marked) *<>Curio &Relic FFL Legal Item<>
