This is a very nice lightly-used and all-original stainless steel Ruger Mark II .22 semi-automatic pistol. Manufactured in 1987, this pistol has obviously lived a very easy life. The Ruger Mark II .22 caliber pistol is one of the all-time greats, perfect for plinking, hunting, and target shooting. Very reliable and accurate, the Mark II was offered in a number of varitions and barrel lengths during it's production run from 1982 to 2004. This particular gun is a stainless steel Mark II Standard Model with a 6" inch tapered barrel, fixed sights, and black checkered Delrin synthetic grips. The stainless steel construction makes this pistol all-weather and very low maintenance, particularly good for shooters that live in places with harsh weather or shooters that do not do a lot of cleaning or maintenance on their guns. The stainless steel on this Ruger is in excellent condition, showing only a few tiny handling marks and no dents/dings. There are no stains or eyesores on this pistol, it is very clean looking. The bore in this Ruger is pristine and bright. The rifling still looks brand-new, and there are no visible imperfections throughout the bore. The original factory grips on this Ruger are in excellent condition, free from any cracks, chips, repairs, or wear. The checkering is clean and crisp, and both grips are tight to the gun with no wiggle. The action on this Mark II is slick and smooth, and the bolt slams into battery with authority when released. All of the controls are crisp and in perfect working order. This stainless Mark II comes with one original 10-round factory magazine in excellent condition. If you have been looking for a new .22 caliber semi-auto pistol for your collection as a plinker or range toy, this 1987-production stainless Ruger Mark II would be an excellent choice. It is not too often that we get these stainless Mark II's in stock, and very seldom are they this clean when we do.
