Description:
Winchester 1895 early Flatside rifle. 38-72 cal with 26" barrel, special order No. 21 front sight, with nickel silver blade. Excellent bore, no rust or pitting, bright & shiny. Wood shows some use marks, see pics. Serial #5037, made 1896, 2nd year. Barrel is mostly brown patina with some areas of surface pitting. Receiver shows well, about 70% finish remains. A rare gun in respectable condition. Reduced price.
