Winchester 1873 1st model Deluxe Serial number 28017. Letters all the way : 28" Heavy Barrel , Special Order Tang Sight , Case Colored Receiver , Very Rare Case Colored Dust Cover , XXX Wood , Checkered Wood and Rifle Butt. Condition is Stunning ! Most all it's blue on barrel . Some light edge wear on corners of octagon barrel. Bore is Excellent Plus. Mechanics are tight and un-used. Brass follower corners are sharp and unused. Wood has all it's luster finish remaining. Checkering crisp . Case colors are thinning but very visible. Overall a outstanding example of a early 1873 Deluxe Rifle with some rare special order features. Please review my photos and please email me with any questions ? 3 day inspection as always.
