We have a Winchester Western 50 caliber paper weight, made of brass, we did not try to polish. The 50 caliber shell is 5 1/2 long, stamped WRA 43. and 3 inches high. I honestly dont remember were we got it, and I call it a paper weight only because I don't know what it is. The lettering on the base is identical to Winchester Western logo, Need more info, give us a call, if you know what is was used for, give me a call.
