Description:
The Colt Frontier Six Shooter was made at the request of J.P. Moore and Sons, one of Colts largest distributer in New York starting in January 1878. They cotinued to make this "Eched Panel" revolver until 1890. That said this is a desirable barrel on a slightly later frame. With the grips and bore being in as good condition that they are for their age they would make a fine addition to any collection.

Metal Condition: Fair, Most of the color case hardening is gone and the bluing is worn off of much of the firearm.
Wood Condition: Good, The Colt emblems are still clear and aparent, there is a chip in the front right grip.
Bore Condition: Very Good, Clean, shiny and with strong rifling.
