Description:
This is partial box (16 original rounds) of 30 U.S. Army Cartridges (30-40 Krag) with 220 Grain bullets. The two piece box has a front label with with nice “woodcut" of the round and call out for the Krag Jorgensen, Winchester Repeating rifle and the Lowell, Mass address. The front, top and side labels are in very good to excellent condition with very light soiling and a small amount of missing paper on the back label. The box is sound with good edges and only a slight crush on the lower right front right. The rounds are heavily tarnished with some verdigris and most have split cases that appear to be age related. A great looking box that will display well with your Krag rifle.
