Description:
Up for sale we have this great project gun. This is a Marlin Model 93 Carbine chambered in .30-30 Win. This old dog was built in 1901 which makes it over 115 years old! The barrel is 20" with a bore that actually looks pretty good with minimal wear and deep rifling. This gun does have some issues and it is being sold as a project/parts gun AS-IS! We had a gunsmith look at this rifle and he said that it needs some gunsmithing to the internal trigger/bolt mechanisms. The hammer doesn't go back quite far enough and causes the bolt to drag on it. Should be fixable by someone that knows what they're doing. The wood has seen better days and it shows a few cracks and some custom home brewed artwork on the butt stock. The metal has some pitting here and there but is very solid overall, especially considering the age of this rifle. The internals of the action look great with nice clean metal.
