Description:
"Mexican Double Loop" Pattern Holster for a 4 3/4 or 5 1/2 inch barreled Colt Single Action army revolver. Also fits my 6 1/2 inch barreled S&W double action frontier. Maker unknown, I think it was made about 1880, because the 75 year old man I got it from in 1990s, said it was his Dads. This right hand holster features hand laced main seam, and beautiful floral carving on its main body and straight loops. Made of dark honey colored skirting leather. The piece has a gracefully re-curved throat profile. The main seam is laced through the toe, and full silhouette skirt with two integral loops securing the pouch. Has very nice age patina with no rips or tear. Will provide many years of service or just use it for display as I did.
