NEAR MINT INDIAN WARS SPRINGFIELD U.S. MODEL 1884 TRAPDOOR .45-70 CAL. RIFLE CIRCA 1886. All original, complete and matching in the serial 3xx,xxx range. Best one we have had. Looks unissued and as it came out of the packing crate. Has all the original blue and case colors and is probably unfired with a mint bore. Stock with all the original finish and with a perfect “SWP/1886” script cartouche. Even the screws and butt plate have the bright original blue. Top museum quality example and best one we have had.
