( RARE RARE RARE ) FIND. MARLIN 39-A 2nd SERIES CASE COLORED RECEIVER, 24-INCH BARREL, BALLARD RIFLING, EXTRA HIGH GRADE WOOD, Serial Number B16XX, Manufactured between 1922 and 1938. This is according to Marlins records. Apparently this rifle was produced during the period that Marlin had a fire and destroyed some of their records. THIS IS A OUTSTANDING RIFLE. GOOD CLEAN NON PITTING BORE, BEAUTIFUL CASE COLORS, LEFT SIDE SHOWS A LITTLE MORE COLORING THAN RIGHT SIDE, EXTRA CLEAN BLUE, EXCELLENT CLEAN WOOD, PERIOD CORRECT W. R. WEAVER MODEL 344 EL PASO TEXAS SCOPE, PLEASE take a close look at these pictures they show how amazing this rifle is for a 82-PLUS years old manufactured rifle.. Anything you may see in the pictures is either lint, smudges or oil marks. is.
