Description:
No. 17 of 20 , 15 1/12 " Bronze of Audie Murphy by Bill Leftwich on walnut base. These table top bronzes were presented to 20 major donors of the project to help fund the large Camp Mabry bronze statue outside the Texas forces Museum. These were cast for Mr Leftwich by Randy Stiefer at the Big Bend Art Foundry in Alpine Texas. Bill Leftwich was a Texan, a cowboy, a WWII Silver Star recipient , an artist , sculptor, author , cowboy historian and story teller , he passed away in 2009.
