Description:
Antique European Pinfire revolver. This piece shows a 11.5" smooth bore barrel, which was is a replacement. The revolver shows no makers marks, proofs and serial number 220 on the butt. This piece appears to be a 10mm pinfire. The action functions smoothly. This revolver is mounted with a brass and wood shoulder stock #220. The stock is secured by a single stock retention screw with the stock mounted the pistol shows an overall length of 29". According to the information from the prior owner this pistol was sourced out of the Southern U.S. We cannot find a similar example on any of our pinfire references. We feel that this piece was modified by an American Gunsmith and possibly designed to fire shot with the smooth bore.
