"Winchester 12 Super Pigeon 12 Gauge shotgun. Y-Series Super Pigeon Grade 2 barrel set. Has a 26" vent rib WS-2 barrel and a 30" vent rib full choke barrel.Both barrels are with matching numbers and correct Pigeon engraved on both. The factory engraving is style 12-1A with single flying duck on both sides with correct Rococco scrolls. The checkering is style 12-A. The recoil pad is a Pachmayr but could be changed to a Winchester pad easily. The receiver is factory inscribed “Charles L. Briggs". We have no information on Mr. Briggs. The second barrel is matching serial and Pigeon engraved. This set has the standard forend and checkering. Bores are excellent. The WS-2 engraved barrel shows some use but no abuse and is rated very good plus. The full choke barrel was probably ordered for field shooting and shows some light use. This 2nd set rates about very good also. This is an unusual chance to buy a special order Model 12 Super Pigeon factory engraved.
