A distinguished heirloom African bush rifle chamber in 30.06. Built on Mauser 1909 action. This is a very fine rifle with 24-inch contoured heavy barrel, banded ramp front site with adjustable single leaf rear sight and front banded swivel swing. Bore rates as excellent, the barrel retains 99% maker applied barrel black. The 1909 receiver retrains 99% of maker applied barrel black, drilled and tapped for scope mounts, case colored bolt release. The bolt is checkered and has a case colored 3 position Model 70 style side swing safely. The floor plate retains 98% of maker applied barrel black with a storage mark across the trigger guard. The stock is cut out of crotch cut Honduras Mahogany and is stunning. It has with a pistol grip with an ebony grip cap. The stock has hand checking with a fleur-de-lis design on both the pistol grip and hand guard. The hand guard and an ebony forend Checking is sharp. The buttstock has a raised cheek piece and has some small nicks around the outer rim. It English style red recoil pad and swing swivel stud. Then trigger is about 3 pounds.
