Nambu Type 14 semi-auto pistol in 8mm Nambu. September 1937 date with Nagoya Arsenal affiliated production by Nambu Rifle Manufacturing Company (Nambu Ju Seizosho) at Kokubunji suburb under Nagoya supervision. This is from their "original series". Includes 1 original serialized magazine and what looks to be a commercial non-military but very well-built and fitted holster.
This is a wonderful WWII-era collectible in very good shape for its age. All visible parts are matching. Excellent bluing with only light freckling to the rear area of the receiver. Light blue wear to the grip straps and underside of the trigger guard. Small spot of pitting on the lower left mid-barrel. Internals could use a deep cleaning, there's packing oil prevalent in the slide. Bore is pitted but rifling is present and it may clean up better. See pics for details.
