Colt 1911 Commercial Frame w/ .22LR Conversion Kit. 1911 Goverment frame with C serial number placing it's DOM in 1915. Post-WWII .22LR Conversion Unit, not marked ACE, not serialized. Steven's adjustable rear target sight. Floating-chamber with short-stroke gas piston operating system which causes an enhanced, heavier recoil to more closely simulate the feel of the .45ACP chambered 1911's. The grips look like bone carved to look like antler. Comes with 1 10-rd magazine, likely original to the conversion unit.
This is a wild old-school 1911 build! The conversion unit is in excellent shape, strong bluing with a few light scratches, especially toward the muzzle. See pics for all details. Bore is shiny and the system is very accurate. Enhanced recoil is definitely noticeable. The frame is in amazing shape for being over 100 years old. Bluing wear along the front strap and beavertail. Light scratching and very light pitting in a few places. Again see pics for details, if you need more pics please ask.
