NEW YORK STATE PERCUSSION HALF STOCK PLAINS RIFLE SIGNED REMINGTON CIRCA 1840’S. 34 ½” octagon .36 caliber rifled barrel stamped “REMINGTON” on underside. Tiger maple stock with silver inlaid half-moon face on left butt and silver diamond inlays on forend. Pewter forend cap. Distinctive two-piece brass scroll side plate. Brass mounts and double set triggers. Goulcher signed lock. All original including ramrod. Original brown mixed with patina on metal. Original finish on stock. Small old barely noticeable hairline repair behind barrel tang. Working order and very good bore.
