This fine rifle was built in 2005 and features a 32" heavy octagon barrel, pistol grip, hard rubber shotgun butt plate, double set triggers and a rich fairly straight grained walnut butt stock and forend. Judging from the gas plate at the front of the breech block, I believe this rifle is unfired. Comes with the original inspection hang-tag. It is mounted with a full buckhorn Lawrence ladder rear sight with an extra new semi-buckhorn Lawrence sight included (these are listed at $65 in the Shiloh catalog).  The front sight is a Rocky Mountain blade. Of course, it is also factory drilled and tapped for a tang sight. I am a big fan of the Shiloh percussion sporting rifles. They can be fired with paper cartridges or by breech-seating a lubed lead bullet with a short starter and charging the chamber with loose black powder. I have several of these and the accuracy potential will amaze you. This rifle with serial number 1XXXB weighs just under 12 lbs.
