Description:
British Queen Anne Double Barrel (Turnoffs) Flintlock Pistol. Side barrel selector opens door for the left side barrel. The cannon muzzle barrels are 4 1/8” “length, overall length 11”. The grip has very nice silver wire inlay with all of it fitting perfectly. No protruding or loose wire. The top curve of the grip has a silver cameo with the initials “HM”. The butt plate depicts a family crest with silver makers touch mark. All Surrounded with flourishes of silver raised in a floral leaf pattern. The grip is very good with no cracks or repairs. The frame is marked “London” on the right side and no makers name. The metal is an even overall patina. The action works properly the side sliding barrel selector is a bit loose and needs to be tightened, the pistol otherwise is very good. Fine example of a double barrel Queen Anne Flintlock.
