Description:
This is quite a rare version of the 1894 design Stevens Favorite model in 22 cal. SHOT. This is a smooth bore shotgun with only a single brass bead near the muzzle, and no provision for a midrange sight. Barrel is part octagon and part round with a bore that has seen some corrosion, but cleaned up half way decent, and is quite shootable. Stocks are excellent, with a light varnish added, but no cracks or repairs. Butt plate is nearly mint, and a rarely seen item on these old guns. Action works as it should, and the metal parts show traces of original case color. All in all this is a rarely seen Stevens Favorite in a 22 shotgun configuration in remarkable condition.
