Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Description:
The Model 7615 was a development of the Model 7600 pump action rifle. It was intended mainly for sale to police officers whose department did not want them using AR15 rifles. As such it is chambered for both the .223 Remington and the 5.56 NATO rounds. The “15” in 7615 refers to the fact that the rifle has been modified to use AR15 magazines instead of the original magazines used on the 7600. The 7615 usually comes with 10-round magazines, however higher capacity mags can be used as well. The 7615 is equipped with the standard Remington sights found on the 740, 742, 750, 760, 7400, and 7600 models. This involves a ramp-based adjustable rear sight and a blade front sight. The mag well and release button are identical to those found on the AR rifle. The rubber pad on the stock shows the most wear. The consignor stated this rifle police surplus so the wear on the pad is not a surprise. The barrel exhibits some finish wear near the receiver, but it is minor. The receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope mount. The bore is in excellent condition. The 7600 is one of the finest pimp-action rifles ever made, and this holds true for the 7615 as well. The added advantage of being able to use AR magazines makes it a very effective rifle, whether it be used for personal defense or hunting. In fact, the 7615 would make a good ranch rifle for use against coyotes.
