Description:
Pretty nice old Remington 600 in the then new and ever popular 243 cal. Perfect for the smaller statured person or when wearing heavy clothing. Barrel is about 18 1/2"" and it weighs in at 6# and 3oz as pictured. Couple of the screws in the rib appear not to be correct. I think they should be the cross hatched ones and the rib is probably somewhat faded. It is not cracked or broken that I can see.There is a repair in the wrist that has been repaired. I've fired this gun probably 40 or so times and the stock shows no sign of recrack or movement. It is a good shooter with a vg bore. Metal has not been reblued and it is above 90% origional blue. There is a small scratch up near the front sight- thru the blue. maybe 3/4" long. These were made just 4 years with about 95,000 made 1964-1968 so a FFL will be required- no C&R here please. Insured shipping is $30 to lower 48 and a FFL. Ours will accompany the gun.
