Description:
BROWNING SUPERPOSED Grade 1 12GA. SKEET SHOTGUN. Blued hand-engraved receiver with blued 28" vent rib barrel choke choked skeet and skeet. Serial number with "S8" suffix. I purchased this gun new in 1969 and it has less than one box of shells fired through it in over 50 years. IT IS PERFECT IN EVERY WAY. No signs of wear or use. Beautiful dark wood with streaks of contrasting color with tight fine checkering. This the gun has NO signs of saltwood and was professional checked and it not a saltwood gun. Browning rubber vent butt pad with 14 1/2" LOP. Short tang flat knob. Beavertail forend typical of the period skeet guns.
This is a MINT example of Browning’s finest skeet gun at the price of a Japanese made Citori. It will make an outstanding shooter or a prize for any collector.
