Description:
This as nice of 1894 as most folks in our area would ever get to hold. Overall condition is in the 90-95% range. Some have said it is all of 95% but I'm going to error on the safe side. Still retains most of the bright blue on the flats of the receiver. The 26" barrel shows thining further down the barrel where it would rest in a gun rack.........for 123 years!! The rear sight is a 3-leaf platinum inlaid version as shown on page 579 of the Madis book. Everything about the rifle is right and tight. Fit and finish is still GREAT with no shrinkage of the wood. No chips, cracks or repairs. The pictures do not do the rifle justice. The gun will need to go to an FFL. Give me a shout if you need more pictures. Cash or check ONLY on this gun.
