Description:
Smith & Wesson, Model 624 (no dash), .44 special, stainless steel, single-action/double-action revolver, with a 3-inch barrel, fluted cylinder, semi-target hammer (.375-inch wide), combat trigger (.312-inch wide, smooth face), original Hogue Monogrips, adjustable rear sights with white outline, and fix front sight with red sight insert.  The year of manufacture is 2001-2003.

Because the S&W Model 624 is not listed as normal in the S.P. Fjestad Blue Book of Gun Values, an email exchange with the Blue Book folks yielded the following:  “…this gun was not a standard production model, but a run that was originally done exclusive for the distributor Lew Horton and would be found in the Smith & Wesson Section under LEW HORTON DIST. CO. Section under SPECIAL/LIMITED EDITION HANDGUNS: SMITH & WESSON.”

The overall condition of this gun is 98 percent.  The stainless steel is 99 percent with no marks or other signs of wear, except for a light cylinder-lock ring.  The Hogue Monogrips are original and are 98+ percent.  There are a couple of scuff marks on the extreme upper portion of the left grip (see photo).  There are NO box, papers, or accessories with this gun.

The photos are high resolution, so zoom to see details.  Contact me for additional photos of any area you would like to see or see better.

The buyer pays $25 USPS Priority mail, plus $16.10 insurance.

The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money orders, as they are like cash.  I will ship the revolver immediately upon receipt of a USPS money order and an FFL.  I will also accept a personal check and other types of money orders, as well as bank checks and cashier's checks.  However, I will accept a personal check or another type money order, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank; this includes bank checks and cashier’s checks.  USPS money orders are limited to $1,000, so two USPS money orders will be required for this purchase.  I do not accept credit cards, debit cards, or PayPal.  Check or money order must be made out to Jerry Pownall.

If you wish to contact me, please "Email Seller".  I will answer your questions, explain the purchase and transfer process, and provide my mailing address.  I am available any time, except Friday evenings and Saturdays.  I will return emails Saturday evening.
