Very rare item, 1 of 73 factory engraved "THE DAISY RIFLE". Winchester Model of 1873 Sporting Rifle 24 inch Factory Round Barrel, .44-40wcf. The serial number of this example is 4983XX placing date of manufacture in 1895. Overall condition is very good with the bore retaining strong rifling and shine from breech to muzzle. The bore will rate a 7 on a 1 to 10 scale, good shooter! The barrel is factory engraved "The Daisy Gun", The dust cover is engraved "1 of 720610", will letter with the Cody Museum.
