Guide Lamp FP-45 Liberator Single Shot Pistol with Box, serial # None, cal. 45 ACP. This Model 3 Variation has a 4 inch round barrel with a very good bore. The pistol retains 85%+ original in the white factory finish that’s starting to brown in some areas, cocking knob is in very good condition with no cracks or damage, the base of the grips are hollowed out to hold 10 rounds of ammo. The box, directions, wood wedge, round dowel and empty ammo box I believe are later made copies. Note: these were produced by the Guide Lamp Division of General Motors from 1942-1945 as a cheap and easy to produce substitute single shot pistols that could be dropped behind enemy lines to the resistance, OSS and SOE forces that would enable them to kill an enemy soldier and capture his weapon. Overall condition of this "Scarce WWII" pistol is very good plus. Inv. : # 1-1108
