Description:
Winchester manufactured M1 Carbine. The serial of this example is 10236XX placing date of manufacture in January 1943. This is a very early Winchester from the first shipment to the Military. The carbine has 100% of the original untouched phosphate finish toned to a very dark green. I have examined the metal and I am unable to see any evidence of sand blasting for re-finish. The bore is perfect and will rate a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale. Locate a Winchester stock WRA / GHD and you will have a $3500.00 Winchester Carbine.
