PRE WW2 SPRINGFIELD U.S. MODEL 1903 INFANTRY RIFLE DATED 1928. Serial number in the 1,4xx,xxx range and barrel dated “ORDNANCE BOMB/3-28”. Excellent to excellent plus with most of the dark green Parkerizing. Wartime replacement matching stock and handguard with all the original finish. Type used early in WW2 by Marines on Guadalcanal. Excellent bore and in perfect working order.
