Description:
SOLD Pending Funds / German P.38 Semi-Auto Pistol, serial # 293 i, cal. 9 mm, manufactured by Spreeverk code: cyq, with a 5" barrel and a good bright bore showing scattered light peppery pitting with good rifling the entire length. The slide and barrel on this cyq-coded pistol retain about 95% arsenal finish with scattered tool and impact marks but nothing drastic or alarming, loss due to fading at the front of the slide flats and light wear along the edges and muzzle. The front grip strap is toning to a smoky gray patina still with generous amounts of original blue in protected areas along with some areas of light oxidation and fine pitting here and there. The grooved brown Bakelite grips remain excellent showing some very light handling marks. The markings remain mostly clear with light softening on the right side of the slide, the serialized parts match and an "(eagle) / 359" marked P.38 magazine is included. The overall condition as described and photographed is very good - very good plus. {C&R} Inv. : # 1-1379
