SOLD This 18th century looking flint lock pistol was assembled in Belgium as the MADE IN BELGIUM,or possibly parts gotten from Belgium and assembled here, and the marking is along the right side of the barrel where the lock meets the barrel. Appears that the mixed parts are old and new made.. The 9" octagonal rifled barrel of about .40 caliber, has a strong bore with a few splotches of surface corrosion, and the exterior has been browned. Lock works good.Has brass inlaid into the lock crews look older, and the brass butt-cap and trigger guard also look older.The tiger maple stock is American maple hardwood, and has some quality carving. Comes with an oak hard wood ram-rod plate and has both sights on top of the barrel. Overall length is about 14 1/2" .Would pass as an early flintlock pistol.
