SOLD PENDING PMT.Custom Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 .280 Ackley Improved built on an original 1954 manufactured action. Sunny Hill bottom metal, 4 panel checkered bolt handle, 24” 1 in 10” twist barrel that I believe is a Douglas Premium, although it is unmarked. Fired less than 100 rounds and bore appears perfect. Professionally stocked with attractive satin finished European walnut with shadow line cheekpiece and perfect fine line checkering wrapped fully around ebony tipped forearm. 13 3/4” lop over a checkered steel trapdoor buttplate, two screw checkered steel grip cap. There are a couple very small gunsafe marks on the stock. Other than those, both wood and metal are 99%. Weight is 7.5 lbs. Shipping, and insurance if desired, paid by buyer.
