Model 61 slide action take down24" round barrelwith bright excellent bore .This is a mint of a rifle manufactured in 1941.the metal surfaces retain98-99%bright original blue with only loss being on sides of barreljust ahead of action from action being worked.The plain walnut buttstockand grooved forend rate excellent with nearly all of the original finish and few handling marks and one notable 11/2" scratch on left side at buttplate that could easily be camouflage and would not merit specific mention if it were not for the otherwise stellar condition of this rifle
