Description:
For sale is a 1963 Zanotti SxS 626 Special. 20ga. Abercrombie and Fitch import. Anson Deeley style box lock. Made in Bologna, Italy. Hand made from the oldest arms manufacturer in the world. I am told older than Beretta. This is a hand engraved best gun. Scalloped receiver. ejectors. English grip, Single trigger. Beautiful original case colors. 95%. The bore diameter of both barrels is .623. Right barrel constriction is .010(IC). Left barrel constriction is .023(IM). A beautiful field gun. 5 pounds 8oz. The single trigger shoots the right barrel first. Non-selective. Very crisp pulls. The ejectors are timed and strong. The lock up is tight, lever to the right of center. A raised concave rib, cross filed. There are two of these for sale on line for a great deal more than my asking price.
There are a few handling marks on the wood and metal. Light scatch or two on the wood and metal. Used not abused. Minor bluing wear at the muzzle. I have discounted the price accordingly. The pad is in need of replacement. This gun is 85-90 percent. Mechanically perfect with near perfect case colors.
