U.S. Springfield 1863 musket. Metal has a dark grey patina, missing rear sight. Pinprick pitting is noted around the nipple to the rear barrel band. Lock plate is dated 1864 behind the hammer. Stock is good with no cracks noted, shows some wear. Affordable Civil War Musket.
