VERY EARLY MODEL 1908 .380 ACP POCKET HAMMERLESS AUTO PISTOL, #8XXX, MADE 1911. Nice example that has been carried, but taken care of and not abused. Generally good blue overall with some areas of surface freckling/spotting mainly on the middle of the slide on each side and on the front strap. Nothing serious, just what you would expect of a .380 that was holstered or carried in a waist band. Excellent early style grips, exc. markings including the rampant colt on the rear of the slide on the left side. Nice fire blue on the safety and trigger sides. Original sights have not been altered. Minty bore, tight action, grip safety functions correctly. This is a very early second model differentiated from the first model which has a barrel bushing. These .380s are getting hard to find especially such an early one that is now 109 years old!
