I am not sure what they are, however, I know when he got them; it was during the year 1971 which is when we got married. One blade is 13" long and one blade is 11" long, the lattest being a very heavy knife, as it is difficult for me to handle it. .There is a gold line on top of each blade at the top,( see the pictures). I recall one knife came with a sheath that my husband did not like so he had to send the knife back and the company made another one that is why there are two sheaths for this particular knife. I took out the stones that were placed in the front pocket of each sheath. Both knives are brand new, no pittings on blades, no black spots, marks,and/or scuffing marks, no scratches, no rust, no micro-scratches, no nothing . I find the condition of these two Randall knives to be perfect and great, as they were located in separate yellow wrapping towels. Not sure of the price today so I hope I am not overpricing them, if I did, please let me know and I will correct the asking price? I will ship only UPS with tracking number, insurance, and signature required; the buyer pays for all shipping cost. I do not know what I have here as my memory is fading, but for sure the knives are in exceptional condition, like new old stock knives from the company. I do not know what each wooden handle is on each knife. There are some kind of metal at the end of each handle that shows work in the yellow metal. There is a work done on each knife at the guard, other than that I have no idea what these knives are? Models number etc..... I am showing some pictures of what seems to be a pamphlet from the company that came with each knife, both are very old and dark brown in color as if they were in a fire but of course we had no fire in the house, and I presume these two items made from papper have aged since we have had these knives from several decades. Is this a guarantee? Can anyone be kind to tell me what these knives are? Thank you very much. SOLD |
