This Winchester was produced in 1889. The carbine's serial number is 300445. It is chambered for the 44 Winchester central fire cartridge. The bore is in good to very good condition. The original cleaning rods are in the stock trap door compartment. The sights are original to this gun. This Winchester has been completly re done by Turnbull. The hammer, carrier lifter, lever latch and operating lever have been color cased. The rest of the carbine has been completly reblued. It is fitted with new wood and finished in the Winchester style. This gun today is in as new condition. It has not been worked or handled since the restoration. This is a good looking Winchester that shows what they looked like in a bygone era.
