Description:
This is a Smith & Wesson Model 19-3 that was manufactured in 1975. Double action. Chambered in .357 Magnum. This revolver has a 6 inch barrel with a minty looking bore that has crisp sharp rifling. Has been very nicely engraved with scrolls and reblued. Also has a set of very cool real elephant ivory grips that have been hand carved with a horse on the rh side. The grips have patinaed very beautifully and show some nice faint yellowing and age cracks. Adjustable rear sight with a fixed black front. Has a jeweled target hammer and trigger with wide spurs. The action and lockup on this pistol are both excellent. This is a very tight revolver! Another bonus is that this is a pinned and recessed model which is very desirable in collector circles and considered an upgrade from the modern S&W revolvers. The blued finish is near 100%. The barrel has faded to a slightly different color. Overall this is an excellent working and very beautiful pistol that needs a good home.
