Description:
Winchester model 1890 manufactured in 1891. Serial # 10983. Solid frame first model. Condition is very good but has some wear from use. Has correct broken D barrel address for first year models. All script is crisp and legible. Wood has original finish and in excellent condition. Condition of the metal is good but has faded to a patina. Case hardened colors are visible along the trigger guard. Barrel does show a mixture of original bluing and patina. Rare caliber .22 wrf is estimated to be only about 5% of production.
