Up for sale are two very hard to find and very clean stock and forearm sets for a Browning Superposed Belgium 20GA shotgun. One is from a round knob long tang gun and the other is from a Superlight Gun.
The RKLT set is in fine shape with some handling marks throughout but it is very clean and sharp with no cracks, dents, or large blemishes. It came off of a 1961 gun that I put upgraded wood on. Approximate dimensions are 14.5 X 1.5 X 2.5 to a hard horn buttplate. It comes with a slim field style forearm and is checkered with grade 1 style checkering, which is sharp and nice with some nicks here or there. It comes with a cross bolt that is fitted and engraved to fit flush. Very clean and a nice set from a hunting gun!
The Superlight (rounded frame) set is really a beautiful set that is probably Diana grade wood. It is checkered with high fine 24 LPI and is checkered in a three piece forearm type of design with the classic superlight stock checkering. It is high grade wood and shows very nice figure. The dimensions on this set are 14 3/8 X 1.5 X 2.25 and it is finished off with a hard buttplate that is Browning as well. This set has a Schnabel forearm and the checkering is near perfect throughout with no noticeable dings or nicks of note.
Each set comes with a crosbolt that is fitted to the forearm. These sets will most likely require some fitting to your gun by a stock person but have been on Browning shotguns. Since this is a "wood" purchase there are no returns (no 3 day inspection period) accepted since they will need to be fitted and this brings in possibility of damage.
