Description: From the urging by Sears & Roebuck, Marlin produced the over & under model 90's introduced about 1936 with the .410 Bore in about 1939. A rather rare model was the .410 & 20 Ga combination guns.About 33,000 guns in all were produced between 1936 and 1959, interupted by WWII and the line reopened in 1949.This specimen is a three digit serial numbered .410 Bore with double triggers as were standard before the war and sports the solid mid rib between the barrels. It appears that this shotgun may not have been used as it is in pristine condition, with the exception of a a few handling marks in the wood and a small chip out at the toe of the butt plate SOLD Manufacturer: 1939 approx Caliber Info: .410 Bore Chambers: 3 Metal Condition: Very good with no discernable marks Wood Condition: A few small handking marks on buttstock & fore end Bore Condition: Bright Barrels: 26" with knurled top barrel Triggers: Double Stock: Uncheckered walnut pistol grip Stock Dimensions: 14 1/2" LOP, 1 5/8" DAC, 2" DAH Fore End: Uncheckered walnut Butt Pad: Composite with Marlin logo chipped at the toe Weight: 5 lbs 12 oz Sights: Brass bead front Chokes: Fixed Modified & Improved Cylinder Item Location: Grand Junction, CO |
