Description:
This National Postal Meter Model U.S. Carbine M1 is a light weight gas operated rotating bolt semi-automatic rifle in .30 Carbine Cal. It has an 18 inch I.B.M. Corp. barrel. A blade front sight with protective sides and an adjustable aperature rear sight. The stock is a smooth hardwood pistol grip butt and a two piece forearm. No date stamp on the barrel.
