Description:
This is an early original USGI World War II complete Type 3 M1 Garand Trigger Group manufactured by Springfield Armory. The type 3 trigger housing is marked “D28290-5-SA" indicating production from April 1941 to August of 1942. The Safety is a Type 3 marked “C46015-6 SA" indicating use in serial number range 60,000 to 280,000. The Type 3 Hammer is marked “C46008-2 SA" used in serial number range 90,000 to 805,000. The Trigger Guard is marked “C-46025-3-SA" indicating production from September of 1941 to January of 1942. All parts are in excellent condition with correct Parkerized finish and covered in cosmoline.
